Cycle the country roads or mountain bike the hundreds of miles of trails through the White Mountain National Forest. Explore the local rivers and lakes and you're likely to share space with blue herons, loons and bald eagles. Schedule a tee time at one of the six area golf courses and experience spectacular mountain backdrops to the fairways in front of you. Visit one of the area Farmer's Markets traditionally available on Saturdays for fresh produce, baked goods and crafts.

At the end of your day, plan to attend one of the summer theatre performances or a free outdoor concert. The Barnstormer's Theatre in Tamworth is the country's oldest professional summer theatre! Check the Calendar of Events for a listing of performances.
